I. PRIVACY CHARTER
OxideSieve is engineered as a high-precision storage utility. We provide the "sieve" to refine your
device's performance, but we never retain the "residue" of your personal information.
The localized Processing Protocol
OxideSieve identifies and facilitates the removal of obsolete files, residual data logs, and system
caches.
- Administrative Scope: To execute these functions, the application requires the "All
Files Access" (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) permission.
- On-Hardware Execution: Every byte of data analyzed during a cleanup cycle is
processed strictly within your device’s local environment. We do not possess the server-side
capability to mirror, upload, or inspect your file names, folder structures, or document contents.
Your storage remains an encrypted vault to which we have no key.
Telemetry and External Service Interaction
While your personal files are never extracted, OxideSieve utilizes specific technical service layers to
ensure software stability and monitor installation success.
- Firebase (Google): Employed for real-time diagnostic reporting. In the event of a
software crash, a pseudonymized technical log (hardware model, OS version, and failure stack trace)
is generated to assist our maintenance team.
- Attribution & Growth Platforms (e.g., Adjust, AppsFlyer): These tools identify the
commercial origin of an installation. They process device-level technical identifiers such as your
Advertising ID (GAID or IDFA).
- The Sieve Boundary: These partners are contractually prohibited from accessing your
local file system or correlating technical signals with your real-world identity.
Legal Foundations for Data Handling
Our limited interaction with technical metadata is grounded in:
- Contractual Necessity: Local analysis of your storage environment is the core
service you have engaged us to perform.
- Legitimate Interests: Utilizing pseudonymized technical IDs to prevent fraudulent
activity, secure the app environment, and evaluate our global reach.
Your Sovereign Data Rights
OxideSieve recognizes your absolute authority over your digital footprint through the following rights:
- Right to Disclosure (Sharing & Selling): You have the right to know if your data is
shared or sold. OxideSieve does not sell, trade, or rent your personal data. Sharing is strictly
limited to the technical operational partners listed in Section 2.
- Right of Access & Rectification: You may request access to, or the correction of,
any inaccurate or incomplete technical data held by our telemetry partners.
- Right to Erasure (Deletion): You can request the total deletion of your data.
Deleting the app immediately purges all local scan history. For technical logs held by partners, our
DPO can facilitate a purge request.
- Right to Lodge a Complaint: You are explicitly entitled to contact a regulatory
authority in your jurisdiction if you believe our data handling violates legal standards.
Retention and Disposal Cycles
- Local Scan Data: Information regarding cleanup targets exists only in volatile
memory during an active session and is cleared upon task completion.
- Technical Telemetry: Non-identifiable data held by third-party partners is retained
for the minimum period required for aggregate performance reporting—typically 12 to 24 months—before
being permanently anonymized.
Choice and Non-Participation (Opt-Out)
- Blocking Data Sale/Sharing: While we do not sell data, you can prevent technical
sharing by enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" (iOS) or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (Android) within
your system settings.
- Permission Revocation: You may withdraw storage access at any time through your
device settings, which will instantly terminate all application functionality.
Governance & Data Protection Officer (DPO)
We have appointed a DPO to supervise our privacy standards and handle all user inquiries.
DPO Name: Julian Vane
